CEAD-MLITEDCE Researchers Join Benilde Writers Workshop
As part of the CEAD-MLITEDCE’s commitment to preserving and promoting Deaf cultural heritage and addressing limited FSL literature needed by a Deaf centered Bilingual-Bicultural education in the country, CEAD-DHFSL researchers Maricris Galang and Lawrence Jericho Tilokano, and Nathaniel Macariola participated in the Benilde Writers Workshop on Copyright and Book Publishing by the Center for Intellectual Property Management (CIPM) held in the campus recently.
Participating in the workshop has equipped the Team with valuable insights into the intricacies of the publishing industry related to copyright laws, intellectual property rights and copyright issues.
We are grateful to CIPM for including in the workshop CEAD-DHFSL Deaf researchers whose participation demonstrates CIPM’s commitment to diversity and inclusivity and ensures that the Deaf’s perspective is represented in the publishing industry.
